The Net Profit License Fee Return has been changed for year end filings of 2005 and later. If you need a return for a prior year, please contact this office and we will send one to you. For tax years ending 2005 and later, you will need to download NP100 Net Profits Return Page 1 and NP100 Net Profits Return Page 2. Filing instructions can be downloaded under NP100 Instructions. If you need further clarification of the county ordinance and to find out what exemptions qualify, download Pulaski County Occupational Tax Ordinance 220.28. If you have access to Microsoft Excel, go to Microsoft Excel Downloads and retrieve the Net Profit Return there.

For tax years ending 2005 and later, taxpayers will not receive a copy of the Net Profit Return. Instead they will be notified by mail of our expectation for them to file. Also taxpayers who are responsible for filing the local tax, must register with us. If they do not register, and therefore do not recieve returns from us, they will still be penalized from the inception of filings due. It is the taxpayers responsiblity to ensure that all returns are filed not only with Federal and State taxing agencies, but also with local agencies.

All taxing jurisdictions (including counties, cities and school boards) must standardize their Occupational License requirements by July 15, 2008. If you visit downloads on this site, you will find a copy of the new Standardized Ordinance for all Counties with KRS saved in MicroSoft Word.
